You only need a soft tape measure and a few minutes. Measure your dog while standing, and keep the tape snug without pulling.
For sweaters, dresses, skirts and coats, start with the chest. Wrap the tape around the widest part, just behind the front legs. Then measure the back, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Our clothing runs from S to XL and fits dogs of about 4 to 20 pounds, and every product page shows the chart for that piece.
Our Snoot & You capes work differently. They are sized by the neck, so measure where a collar usually sits. Because the fit depends on the neck and not the body, the capes suit bigger dogs as well.
